A piece of solid steel. Forged from a single piece of German stainless steel and blackened with a special iron-oxide treatment. And it would not be a Schiffmacher knife without a tattoo.

Polynesian inspired. Polynesian culture had no writing, so symbolic tattoo art carried meaning instead. “Just like people, a knife has a soul. This design embodies that soul and gives it power.” As the largest knife in the collection it handles almost every task in the kitchen, and the blackened finish makes it look as sharp as its edge.
